Greetings from the North!

Here´s a greeting video from our first travel with Julian. I made the video for my friends, that I just rarely can see.

Kisses from us. xx

Song: Fear The Dawn/Cadukeya

Time goes by…

Hello friends, when I look at this site, time seems to be frozen…well I´m alive…maybe a little more on Facebook lately.
My music got a little bit stucked, because of private reasons… I am mother now of a cute boy. This is wonderful/he is so wonderful…a wonderful wonder, that filled our heart with joy and so much love. :-)
My music, well, I will see…I don´t have to and I don´t want to put myself under any pressure with it. It all has to come naturally :-)
With these words said, I want to wish everyone a Merry X-Mas and a very Happy New Year 2013 !!!

Peace and love,

All the best…!

It´s grey here since maybe 2 weeks, no snow at all, no blue sky and sun… (that I have missed very much!) Still I am optimistic, waiting for that gap in the sky ;-)

I am wishing you blue sky and sunny days,  happiness and joy, lucky days and fun, health, freedom and peace within and around you and wherever you may be.

In short words: All the best for you in the New Year 2012!! :-)

New song online: Down The Valley

Hello there,

some weeks ago I finished the recordings of my latest song “Down The Valley“. I wrote it some time ago and played it very often as an acoustic version. While I was recording the song, new ideas came up, so I modified it much, that now it sounds like a completely different song.
It took me longer than expected, but now it´s done and so far I am happy with it. I hope you can enjoy the song, wishing you a great and sunny autumn weekend!
:)

…one served for Cadu by Mik ;-) (tasted fabulous btw!)… the other shown  in the U-Tower in Dortmund during the Japan Media Arts Festival 2011 ;-) …it was just a simple projection from a computer, where I could type it in, hihi^^

Summer resumen

Dear people,

I hope you had a great summer!

After a short trip to the north of Denmark, I was for some (rainy) days  in Sarajevo, Bosnia. I visited my family there and have been on the Sarajevo Film Festival too. Then travelled to the Adriatic Sea near Split, Croatia, where I spent some real warm days, even though I had a bad cold during half of the stay. Back through Slovenia and Austria…The highway in Austria has about 33 tunnels, that we counted…

Since some weeks I´m back, trying to find into a rhythm again…

I am working on the recordings of Down the Valley and it´s almost finished :-)   I think it is a song with a cute retro touch…

Today I worked on making a layout for my lyrics and putting them up (under Media or click here). I chose the CD-LabelPrinter for it, as I wanted my lyrics as a jpg file. There are surely other ways to do it, but for me it was the easiest to do it this way.

Now I need some rest :-)

Many greetings and have a great weekend and week!

…first tribute to…Cadukeya!

Dear folks,

Waldemar Getmann made an acoustic/instrumental version of my song “For The First And The Last” that I would like to present to you! I am very pleased about the idea and the song itself and I would like to share it with you. It really surprised me^^

Listen to this beautiful and relaxing version here:

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Waldemar is my pupil in school and a very talented young guitarplayer. You should visit his site on youtube (vanny89) and watch this great talent play along cool metalsongs! He also plays the guitars in a very black metal band ;-)

Cheers and greetings

Interview with Cadukeya in Dark Feather

Hi there,

I was interviewed by Holger Warschkow from the alternative undergroundzine Dark Feather.  It is a pdf-zine, that you can download for free. You can read the interview here:

Zine17-Dark-Feather

(It is a bigger file, so it can take some time to get open!)

The interview is in german language.

A compilation CD of all presented bands in this magazine was produced aswell. Two of my songs are on it too. The inlay looks like this:

I hope you have fun with it!

Many thanks to Holger and his team!
